Abstract
The article attempts to trace the work of the USSR’s foreign intelligence and Soviet diplomacy on certain groups of Ukrainian political emigration on the basis of the archives of V. Dolganov and K. Raukh-Dolganova and separate publication, on the example of the work of the USSR Embassy in Berlin. On the basis of interrogation protocols, a conclusion is drawn about the direct connection between the failure of the work on the decomposition of Ukrainian emigration, artificially created Soviet-phile emigrant organizations, etc., and the repression of executors of this policy in the 1920s and early 1930s. In particular, the establishment of the Will society in Berlin from emigrants – Galicians, approaches to the emigrant groups of Yevgen Petrushevich and Yevgen Konovalets are considered. The work of P. Ladan, an agent of the illegal residency of «Igor» OGPU INO, and V. Dolganov, secretary of the consular department, on the corruption of some emigration leaders, their direct bribery, and their inclination to return to the USSR are analyzed, and the methods of Soviet diplomacy are revealed.
